New “Phrase that Pays” Swag Bucks Twitter Promotion
Today Swag Bucks has announced their new twitter promotion: The Tuesday Phrase that Pays.
This new promotion is similar to the #Swagbucks promotion (the daily chance to win 20 Swag Bucks by including #Swagbucks in your tweets), with a few exceptions.
You enter each Tuesday by including the Phrase that Pays (revealed each Tuesday on the Swag Bucks blog) in your tweets along with an @SwagBucks (so that the good folks at Swag Bucks will be able to see your tweet). (If none of this makes sense to you you’re probably new to twitter… read about how to use twitter here: http://help.twitter.com/portal)
The phrase has to be in context however, so you can’t simply add it at the end of every tweet. You’ll have to take that swaggy phrase and use it in a sentence.
Here’s an example. Today’s Phrase that pays is “Swagify“, so your tweet may be:
I decided to Swagify my wardrobe with a brand new @SwagBucks t-shirt.
The @SwagBucks does not have to be in the sentance though, like:
It’s cool to Swagify your browser with the Swag Bucks toolbar. @Swagbucks
The best news is that the prize for this promotion is a whopping 50 Swag Bucks!
You can still use the #Swagbucks promotion, in fact, why not use both and double your chances of winning? The TTPTP has replaced the #Swagbucks promotion.
Winner will be announced tomorrow.
Good luck!

Navigating the Swag Bucks Facebook Page
As we frantically scurried to post last night’s Swag Code hint it occurred to us that when you are in a mad rush to find a code one can get easily lost in the many levels of Facebook pages. This can be compounded while 20,000 people are posting their comments about their own success or confusion.
The latest incarnation of Facebook has improved on some old elements and has some nice benefits for us Swag Code hunters. So when you get a tweet or see a WLSB post about a Facebook wall code here’s how to find it fast.
First of all, jump to the Swag Bucks facebook page. It pays to be logged into Facebook, so if you aren’t, do that as soon as you get there.
You should see something like this (click the image for full size):
The first and most important thing to notice here is that the most recent Swag Bucks post is prominently displayed at the very top of the page over the tabs. Unless Swag Bucks has posted again, our Swag Code or our hints to find it will be right here. If you are not logged in to Facebook you may not see the latest post at the top of the page.
The second thing to note is the Just Swag Bucks button under the Write something… box. If our instructions aren’t in the very top portion of the page, click this button and all the wall messages by fans will be filtered out. Now you will have a much easier time finding the correct post.
Sometimes you won’t see the filter buttons under the Write something… box. Don’t panic. Your version of the wall probably looks like this (click image for full size):
Simply click that little Filters button and the Just Swag Bucks button will appear!
We hope this helps you cut through the haystack to find the needle. Good luck everyone!

New Swag Code
A new Swag Code has been released on the Facebook wall:
Look for a post by Swag Bucks that starts “Hey folks, I’ll try to get on here later” (for a while it will be displayed at the very top of the page).
Tip: click on Just Swag Bucks button at the top of the wall to see only the posts by Swag Bucks. If you don’t see that button, click on the little magnifying glass with the word Filter beside it to show the buttons.
Worth a buck!
- copy it (it’s case sensitive)
- go to http://www.swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-swagbucks
- Paste it in the ‘Enter Your Swag Code’ box and click GIMME!
Good luck! Let us know if you got it.

What is Swag Bucks
Every now and then WLSB will pause to let new visitors know what the skinny is on Swag Bucks.
What is it?
SwagBucks.com is an online portal dedicated to helping you earn Swag Bucks, digital dollars which can be redeemed for exclusive swagbucks.com prizes.
How does it work?
It’s easy as 1-2-3!
- Search the web as you normally would using SwagBucks.com search engine. You’ll get results from Google.com and Ask.com.
- Swag Bucks will be periodically awarded to you as you search. You can win up to 5 Swag Bucks with a single search and on Fridays you can win up to 100 Swag Bucks with a single search. You can also find and redeem Swag Codes (many of which will be hinted at here at WeLoveSwagBucks) which will add to your Swag Bucks total.
- Redeem your Swag Bucks for prizes ranging from gift certificates for Amazon, Target and iTunes to televisions, video games, iPods, movie, music and sports collectibles, comics and books, and much much more!
Does it really work?
You bet!
I am normally highly skeptical of this type of internet thing because they are so often full of junk mail, don’t pay out, ask you for way too much personal info, or just take too much time, but SwagBucks.com is really working for us.
My wife and I have been using it for about three months and have not received one piece of junk mail and have earned enough SwagBucks to get $75 in Amazon gift certificates (we are BIG book lovers). Above all this it couldn’t be more easy and is actually addictively fun! At this rate we’ll have almost $300 in Amazon gift certificates at the end of the year, all for searching the internet as we normally do each day.
Okay… How do I get started?
- Sign up here and you’ll start with 3 Swag Bucks.
- Start searching and winning Swag Bucks.
- Check out our tips for maximising your Swag Buck wins.
- Come back to WeLoveSwagBucks for news and clues to the latest Swag Codes.
- Have fun!

Proof (Late March edition)
For those of you who are on the fence about Swag Bucks, this is for you.
We know we talk a lot about how rewarding, easy and fun Swag Bucks is but the proof is in the pudding.
Here is a screenshot of our account as of today, showing how many Swag Bucks we have and how many we have traded in for our gift certificates.
If this isn’t enough to get you clambering for a Swagbucks.com account maybe you’ll be persuaded by the following facts:
- We achieved this doing what we would have done anyway. Namely searching and social interacting.
- We have not received one piece of junk mail due to joining Swagbucks.com
- We love Swag Bucks so dang much that we made this whole blog just to shout it from the rooftops and to help others increase their rewards, find Swag Codes and just plain share the love.
So if you’d like to start earning real world prizes and gift certificates by doing exactly what you currently do every day sign up with our super special love-filled link

and start off with 3 Swag Bucks.
Have fun!

Missed one…
Apologies All…
After chaining ourselves to the computer for days waiting for that next inevitable Swag Code we finally took a break to eat. Wouldn’t you know it, just then The Swag Guy posted a blog entry with a riddle, the answer to which was a Swag Code worth 2 Swag Bucks!
http://blog.swagbucks.com/2009/03/riddle-me-this-for-free-swag-bucks.html
The code was limited to the first 300 people and went pretty fast.
But what a great concept. We love the idea of a riddle whose answer is a Swag Code.
What do you think? Anyone get the code?

And just like that… Hitting 200!

Wow. We are so happy to see people visiting WLSB. Just a couple of days after hitting the 100 visiters per day mark we have hit the 200 per day mark. Don’t worry, we won’t start posting every time we get another 100 visits per day. We’re simply happy that you folks keep stopping by, to get some info, and some hints on the latest Swag Codes.
To celebrate we’re putting together a big tip tutorial… a single trick that may just ensure that you never miss another Swag Code. At least not while you are sitting in front of your computer.
Thanks again everyone. WLSB ♥’s you all.
