Sister site codes…

September 21, 2010

Hi All,

Lately there have been some Swag Bucks sister site codes released.  A sister site code is one that is not valid on Swag Bucks’ main site but is for another Swag Bucks site on this list.

We haven’t been posting these since this is We Love Swag Bucks… but, if people are interested, let us know in the comments, and we’ll start posting these sister site codes.

As I understand it, points won at those sister sites show up on swagbucks as well? If so, I say share them all.

      Hi Doug,
The points will show up in your Swag Bucks total, but you can only use them in the Swag Stores of the sister sites.

I have a question do you have to pay taxes? I have won $150 in amazon cards so far! It’s amazing what you have won!
What’s the limit before taxes come in?

    Thanks for your help!

We are by no means experts on this, but here in Canada sweepstakes earnings are not taxable. We’ve heard that in the U.S. you may have to pay taxes on lottery or sweepstakes earnings if they are substantial. Your best bet is to contact the revenue agency that governs in your state.
      Good luck!

Yes! There are swagstakes on sister sites, so you can use the bucks you get to enter in those. Please post them!

Another vote for no. There are many other swagcode sites that push sister site codes. I rely on you for JUST main site codes.

  • 14. Q  |  September 22, 2010 at 4:35 pm

    Yes please. Incubus codes please.

  • 15. Jason  |  September 22, 2010 at 6:38 pm

Yes please! The only reason I joined swagbucks was for a particular sister site (WWE) and I hate it when a code is only valid for the main site. So yes to the sister site codes please!

I have not seen any new codes for days. Why?

    • 23. We Love Swag Bucks  |  November 10, 2011 at 6:53 pm

As of a few months ago Swag Bucks stopped their one-code-per-day trend. At first there were no codes on weekends (with occasional exceptions) and lately we’ve noticed that one or two weekdays a week there will be no code give out. The last code we found was the day before yesterday, on November 8. We expect a code to be here later today as well.
      Good luck!

It would be great if you posted the sister site codes as the swag bucks earned go straight into your account. Do not know why others are opposed……….

    • 25. We Love Swag Bucks  |  November 10, 2011 at 9:54 pm

Sister Site codes do go straight to your account balance, but you cannot cash them in for rewards on the Swag Bucks site. You can only cash them in for rewards on the specific Sister Site they were won on.
For example, lets say you had 2400 Swag Bucks… Wow! That’s a ton! You have 400 on Swag Bucks main site and 400 on each of seven other sites. You would not have enough Swag Bucks to buy a single $5 Amazon Gift card… many people don’t care about the Sister Site bucks because they can’t cash them in, and they therefore don’t do much more than give you a misleading account balance.
      Hope you understand.
