Proof (Autumn 2010 edition)
November 3, 2010
Hi All…
Here is our latest Proof post to show everyone how Swag Bucks is working for us.
For those of you who are on the fence about Swag Bucks, this is for you.
We know we talk a lot about how rewarding, easy and fun Swag Bucks is but the proof is in the pudding.
Here is a screenshot of our account as of today, November 3, 2010, showing how many Swag Bucks we have and how many we have traded in for our gift certificates (click image for full size). These images are getting big!
If you click on the image above for a full sized version you can see that since we started in January 2009, we have redeemed enough Swag Bucks to receive 219 $5 Amazon Gift Cards, 8 $25 Amazon Gift Cards and 29 $50 Amazon Gift Cards. Before you get your calculators out, that’s $2745 worth of free books (or whatever else you fancy at Amazon.com).
If this isn’t enough to get you clambering for a Swagbucks.com account maybe you’ll be persuaded by the following facts:
- We achieved this doing what we would have done anyway. Namely searching and social interacting.
- We have not received one piece of junk mail due to joining Swagbucks.com
- We love Swag Bucks so dang much that we made this whole blog just to shout it from the rooftops and to help others increase their rewards, find Swag Codes and just plain share the love.
So if you’d like to start earning real world prizes and gift certificates by doing exactly what you currently do every day sign up with our super special love-filled link
► WLSB super special love-filled link ◄
and start off with 30 Swag Bucks.
Have fun!

this is really awesome, congrats!
I do have a question though: why would you opt to get a $50 amazon card, when the $5s cost less SBs?
Thanks,
Ifi

Hi Ifi,
That’s a great question.
You’re correct, a $50 Amazon card costs 5900 Swag Bucks, or 118 Swag Bucks per dollar. A $5 Amazon card costs 450 Swag Bucks or 90 Swag Bucks per dollar, quite a bit cheaper on a per dollar basis. (As a side note, the $25 Amazon cards are the most expensive at 126 Swag Bucks per dollar.)
The reason we started getting $50 cards is that a while ago Swag Bucks began a redemption limit of five of any given prize per month. We started getting our first five $5 cards, then switching to $50s since those were the second cheapest.
Read our post on the switch to redemption limits here: New Amazon GC (and other prize) limit

Ah, thanks! I guess I don’t have the “problem” of having too many sb, lol.

What did you spend all that money on?

We cashed our Amazon cards in for two Wiis (one was a gift) an HP Mini, and tons of books (we’re BIG readers).

HI.
How do you do it? I make about 20-25 swag bucks a day but could never get that much cards in a year. Is there a trick for doing the surverys or getting more swag bucks?

If you read around our blog you’ll see that most of our Swag Bucks come from our referrals.

How do you get so many referrals? Besides using this website because i don’t know how to build one.

Thanks for your blog! It really helped me learn a lot about Swagbucks. But I was wondering, what’s the best way to get referrals? Do you just post a short description of Swagbucks and your referral link on blogs, pages, and websites? I know that many places block things like that, so if you could help me, it would mean a lot. Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Trina D.

Hi Trina,
We’re so glad you find WLSB useful! We’ve gotten referrals in many different ways. Probably the main way is through this very website. We’ve also made videos of our prize unboxings of our free HP Mini, free Nintendo Wii, and some of our books. We also, as you mentioned, talk about Swag Bucks and why we love em wherever we can.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
