About Swag Bucks

What is it?

SwagBucks.com is an online portal dedicated to helping you earn Swag Bucks, digital dollars which can be redeemed for exclusive swagbucks.com prizes.

How does it work?

It’s easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Search the web as you normally would using SwagBucks.com search engine. You’ll get results from Google.com and Ask.com.
  2. Swag Bucks will be periodically awarded to you as you search.  You can win up to 50 Swag Bucks with a single search and on Fridays you can win up to 1000 Swag Bucks with a single search.  You can also find and redeem Swag Codes (many of which will be hinted at here at WeLoveSwagBucks) which will add to your Swag Bucks total.
  3. Redeem your Swag Bucks for prizes ranging from gift certificates for Amazon, Target and iTunes to televisions, video games, iPods, movie, music and sports collectibles, comics and books, and much much more!

Does it really work?

You bet!

I am normally highly skeptical of this type of internet thing because they are so often full of junk mail, don’t pay out, ask you for way too much personal info, or just take too much time, but SwagBucks.com is really working for us.

My wife and I have been using it since January of 2009 and have not received one piece of junk mail and have earned enough SwagBucks to get $3120 in Amazon gift certificates (we are BIG book lovers).  We’ve had a blast getting a free HP Mini, a free Nintendo Wii, and tons of books.  Above all this it couldn’t be more easy and is actually addictively fun!  All for searching the internet as we normally do each day.

If you don’t believe us, here’s proof.

Okay… How do I get started?

  • Sign up here and you’ll start with 30 Swag Bucks.
  • Start searching and winning Swag Bucks.
  • Check out our tips for maximizing your Swag Buck wins.
  • Come back to WeLoveSwagBucks for news and clues to the latest Swag Codes.
  • Have fun!

These are awesome tips. I can’t believe how fast you guys here in WeLoveSwagBucks made thousands of dollars from SwagBucks alone. Perhaps someday I’ll be able to earn as much as well!

Hey, I’m adding a new section to my blog about blogs people should check out, and I’d like to add yours to that list. Can you make an image that represents your blog with your blog’s name on it, no bigger than 250px width x 100px height? When you have the image ready, either e-mail it to me, or leave a comment on my blog with your e-mail and I’ll contact you. If you need an example of what I mean, go to my blog and look in the right column to see the examples that are already there. Thanks!

how do i know where is the swag code?

  • 10. Harkanwal  |  August 10, 2009 at 1:49 pm

How come that every time that i try to redeem a prize it says that this prize is only avalible to us residance and i live in canada so does hat mean i will not be able to recive the prizes?

    • 11. We Love Swag Bucks  |  August 12, 2009 at 4:14 pm

We’re not sure what the issue is here. We can tell you, being from Canada ourselves, that there has been no issue for us redeeming prizes. It should be noted that we’ve really only redeemed for Amazon gift cards though. Write to support@swagbucks.com and ask them for some help.
      Good luck!

  • 12. anonymous  |  August 25, 2009 at 2:36 pm

Hey I have a question about the $5 Amazon.ca gift certificates. Can you combine them? like say I was able to redeem 5 gift certificates. could I combine them all to purchase one $25.00 item??? thanks!

    • 13. We Love Swag Bucks  |  August 25, 2009 at 6:44 pm

Yes you can! You can apply the Amazon gift cards to your account and theoretically have no limit to the balance. We’ve placed orders well over $100.
      Good luck!

Hi, just out of curiosity, how many Swagbucks do you earn per day on average?

    • 15. We Love Swag Bucks  |  August 30, 2009 at 10:43 am

We earn about 3-5 a day from searching and more from our referrals.

    • 17. We Love Swag Bucks  |  September 12, 2009 at 9:14 am

:P EXPIRED is not and never will be a Swag Code. You’ve gotten to this one too late and the code has been replaced with the word EXPIRED to let you know so.

  • 18. Anonymus  |  September 14, 2009 at 5:07 am

is there a spacific time when swag bucks puts up their swag codes????

    • 19. We Love Swag Bucks  |  September 17, 2009 at 9:11 am

Depending on your time zone, Swag Bucks tends to put out their Swag Codes in the early evening (6:00 PM eastern)or afternoon (3:00 pacific), but a Swag Code can (and will) appear ANY time of day or night.

I was wondering if its same as prizerebel. because i got these weird phone calls who wants me to buy something from LA or other contries because of the prizerebel . and they charged me.

    • 21. We Love Swag Bucks  |  October 14, 2009 at 3:43 pm

We’ve been with Swag Bucks for 10 months and have not received one piece of junk mail, let alone unsolicited phone calls… oh, and we haven’t paid one red cent. :)

  • 22. SWAGBUCKS FANN  |  October 20, 2009 at 5:10 pm

I was wondering, i had swagbucks since the end of september and i only have 50 swagbucks right now and i read all the tips, could you tell me how to get more or how to advertise my referall link

    • 23. jennifer  |  September 6, 2010 at 2:28 am

weird, i’ve been with them five days and have gotten over 600 swagbucks, but that’s because i used all of the tips and did the free offers for car insurance with a spam email account.

  • 24. Ian  |  November 2, 2009 at 2:10 pm

I’ve finally gotten enough to get my first amazon gift card, and am ready to order my first one. Do you know if they expire at all?

I want to save up, but also really want to order my first prize!

    • 25. We Love Swag Bucks  |  November 4, 2009 at 1:01 am

They don’t expire, and you can save up a whole bunch to apply towards your Amazon order.

  • 26. Scooot  |  November 5, 2009 at 9:00 pm

I tried to get the new swag-code from the swidget, but it’s saying there isn’t anything out. Do you know why??

  • 27. Martha McLemore  |  December 9, 2009 at 12:24 am

I have tried ever since I signed up for your newsletter to receive it. MONTHS ago! I put in my contacts for the newsletter (http://mrd.mail.yahoo.com/compose?To=Prodege.noreply%40us.emaildir4.com) in my contact addresses, and no longer have SPAM settings on, but I have not received even 1 newsletter for swagbucks. I have gone to every blog and I see SO MANY problems listed like mine, but no-one answers it from Swagbucks. Why aren’t you guys or girls nice enough to help us out? We want to win Swagbucks too. I need them. Can you PLEASE help me out? It would be nice for SWAGBUCKS to post this answer once in awhile. Lots of Swaggernuts are asking the same question. I would like a reply PLEASE ASAP. Thanks. God is good.

  • 38. john  |  May 12, 2010 at 4:46 pm

How many referrals do you have

    • 39. We Love Swag Bucks  |  May 12, 2010 at 5:11 pm

We have been lucky enough (through hard work mind you) to get about 800 referrals

  • 40. john  |  May 12, 2010 at 6:40 pm

what did you do exactly to get that many?

    • 41. We Love Swag Bucks  |  May 12, 2010 at 9:59 pm

We did a lot of things. We offered our advice everywhere people were asking about Swag Bucks, and we included our referral link. We told people how we signed up and what happened, what to expect, and how easy it was, and we included our referral link. We shared videos of our unboxings, and we included our referral link. We told friends and family how easy and fun Swag Bucks was, and we included our referral link. We made this website, to help people figure out Swag Bucks, and to offer tips and hints about Swag Codes, and we included our referral link. Do you see a theme?

Our best advice is to be active in the Swag Bucks community, and throw your referral link in there (subtly, nobody wants it crammed down their throats), help others out, pass on what you learn, and be friendly. The referrals will come.

      Good luck.

I have a question. I used to get swag bucks from searches. Since they changed the format for the anniversary, I am no longer getting any for searching. There will be a blank spot where the swagbucks used to come up, but nothing is there. What can I do to fix the problem. I have emailed them several times but to no help. I need my Swagbucks! Please help.

I dont get the TSG button on the toolbar. what is it? Thanks

  • 44. Jillian  |  July 14, 2010 at 2:02 pm

Any ideas on whether they have a feedback form as opposed to a general bug/glitch/problem form?

Twice now, in as many days, I’ve gotten halfway or 2/3 of the way through one of the surveys when it suddenly boots me off and say they’ve gotten the required number of responses or they don’t need more info from my demographic.
Basically, it seems like we’re being cheated — the survey companies get the research they need but SB doesn’t have to shell out to us.

Thanks for this great post. The info I have gained from your blog is truly encouraging

  • 49. Andrew Walsh  |  November 15, 2010 at 12:37 am

You have gotten mostly Amazon gift cards. Do you think this is a better deal than trying to save up and get cash via Paypal?

    • 50. We Love Swag Bucks  |  November 15, 2010 at 5:15 pm

      Hi Andrew,
We think it’s a better deal, but then we’re very happy to get things on Amazon. A $5 Amazon card costs 450 Swag Bucks while a $5 Paypal card costs 700 Swag Bucks. To put it in perspective, the $2745 in Amazon cards we’ve gotten since we started with Swag Bucks would have only been about $1765 in Paypal cards. Sounds like a no brainer. But then again, if you can’t get that special item on Amazon then $1765 in Paypal cards sounds pretty swell!

  • 51. Sara  |  November 22, 2010 at 12:32 pm

With Christmas around the corner and most of my referrals have given up on searching I’ve gone to filling out the free offers for points. I earned enough for one $5 Amazon card just last night!! What is your feeling on the offers? Do you actually do these?

  • 53. Tomi  |  January 27, 2011 at 10:58 pm

it is true it really does work.

    • 54. Tomi  |  January 27, 2011 at 10:59 pm

      i think you are right

  • 55. Butterflies1  |  June 18, 2011 at 6:07 pm

Can you withdraw money from your swag bucks account?

    • 56. We Love Swag Bucks  |  June 21, 2011 at 1:26 pm

Swag Bucks is not real money. It is an incentive reward for searching the net using their search engine and for visiting the various Swag Bucks pages. While it can be redeemed for real world goodies, there is no cash value to a Swag Buck.

    Thanks for the read
