Wow! Honourable mention from Swag Bucks!
Hi All… We’re speechless!
Veteran WLSB readers may be aware that we’ve been mentioned several times on the Swag Bucks. First on the Swag Bucks home page and later in the Swag Bucks blog. Both times for our tutorial on Swag Codes: Swag Codes 101.
Well what a surprise we got today when our unboxing video for our FREE Nintendo Wii was featured on the Swag Bucks blog.
What we want you to take away from this is how effective and rewarding it is to interact with the Swag Bucks community. Not only is it tons of fun, but we received 20 Swag Bucks just for sending our video to the good folks at SwagBucks.com. An unboxing video is a great way to get in contact with potential referrals and let them know that Swag Bucks is fun and legit.
Now, with publicity like this, we can expect a lot more people heading over to check us out. That hopefully means a lot more Swaggernauts learning how to make the most out of Swag Bucks.
We’ve said time and again that anyone can do what we’ve done. This is just proof positive that if you put your heart in to it people will take notice and you will reap the benefits.

Wow… what a party!
Well, Swag Bucks promised a celebration and boy did they deliver. I think more than a few of us have a Swag Bucks hangover this morning.
Overall we saw EIGHT Swag Codes given out during the festivities. We hope that you got em all!
Here’s the breakdown (for those of you who may have suffered some Swag Bucks Blackouts)
- The new menu code worth 20 MyReferrals
- The all day Swag Hunt worth 30 ILoVEsb
- The Twitter code worth 8 CeLeBRaTe
- The toolbar code worth 13 BeeDay
- The older blog post code worth 22 Cumpleanos
- The Flickr code worth 5 LetsEatCake
- The Facebook code worth 10 PRESENTS
- and the late night blog code worth 6 steaz
Add all of those up and figure in the 40 we got for searching and our Swag Bucks Birthday total was 154. Not bad considering that would be a little over 15 Swag Bucks under the old currency.
It was also a banner day for We Love Swag Bucks receiving 17,336 unique visitors throughout the day! Insane!
Collect yourselves… because not only is today a Mega Swag Bucks Friday, but The Swag Guy has promised a newsletter. You should all know what that means
We hope you all had fun and that we could help you add to your Swag Bucks bottom line. Let us know how you made out and keep posting your new daily wins so we can all get our heads around the new currency and reward frequency.
Finally, thanks to Swag Bucks for a great celebration and for another year of awesome rewards.
Tip o the glass to you.

WOW! What a change!
Well it’s only been an hour or two since we’ve crawled out of bed, and what a change we’re seeing in the Swag Bucks home page. The Swag Bucks crew promised big changes and they’ve delivered already!
The first thing you notice when you open your browser this morning is a staggering change in your Swag Bucks total. Before you start dreaming of all the big ticket items you’re going to buy in the Swag Store read about the re-valueing of Swag Bucks.
1 Equals 10
Every Swag Buck is now worth ten Swag Bucks. What?!? In the same way that one dollar equals ten dimes Swag Bucks has changed the way we earn our rewards. Now, you’ll get 10 Swag Bucks as a search reward, or 20 Swag Bucks, or maybe 16 or 18. This allows Swag Bucks to reward us with intermediate denominations. Winning 16 Swag Bucks sounds better and makes more sense than winning 1.6 Swag Bucks.
At first this may seem like a sneaky way of rewarding us with partial Swag Bucks, but when you think about it, 99% of the Swag Bucks we used to get each day were 1 SB denominations. Only time will tell how prevailent the new denominations are, but it looks like we may be earning our Swag Buck a little faster.
Please post your winnings today… let us know how many Swag Bucks you’re winning and how often.
Good luck!
Update #1
Our fist win of the day is a crisp new 20 SB. Equivalent to an old denomination 2 SB. We’re pretty happy with this
Keep posting your wins in the comments… Good luck!
Update #2
Our second win of the day is another crisp new 20 SB. So far that makes 4 old school Swag Bucks. Not bad for a morning
Keep posting your wins in the comments… Good luck!

Some news
Hi All…
We just wanted to let you know that we may be absent from the WLSB blog for a few days. We have suffered a loss which has the whole of our hearts and minds occupied.
Check below this post for recent additions. We’ll still be posting code hints when we can, and we will return soon.

A bit absent…
Hi All…
Sorry we’ve been a bit absent the last few days. We’ve experienced a medical emergency which has our attentions focussed elsewhere.
We’re keeping you posted as best we can. Thanks for your patience.

New Amazon GC (and other prize) Limit
Today Swag Bucks announced a redemption limit which effects all prizes in the Swag Store. From now on we will be limited to redeeming a maximum of five of any one prize in any one calendar month.
This means that if you are used to getting a ton of $5 Amazon Gift Cards (like we are) you will now be limited to $25 worth per month.
As our name states, We Love Swag Bucks, but we have NO Love for this new limit.
What this means is that you used to be limited to $300 worth of $5 cards per month (maximum of 2 cards per day times an average of 30 days in a month) and now you are limited to $25 worth of $5 cards per month. That is a reduction of over 90%.
So what are our options?
There are $25 and $50 Amazon Gift Cards in the Swag Store, but they cost 315 and 590 Swag Bucks respectively. If you do some figurin’ you can see that these are much more expensive, in terms of Swag Bucks, than the $5 cards.
| Denomination | SB Cost | SB per $ |
| $5 | 45 SB | 9 SB/$ |
| $25 | 315 SB | 12.6 SB/$ |
| $50 | 590 SB | 11.8 SB/$ |
Under the old limit of 2 cards per day you could theoretically get 60 cards in an average month. At 45 SB per card that would give you $300 of Amazon cards for the cost of 2700 Swag Bucks.
Now with the current limits and prices, judging by the table above, your cheapest option to get the same amount of Amazon cards would be:
5 $5 cards (45 SB x 5 = 225 SB)
5 $50 cards (590 SB x 5 = 2950 SB)
1 $25 card (315 SB)
for a total of 3490 Swag Bucks. That’s a 30% hike in Swag Price, or put simply, you would need to earn an extra 790 Swag Bucks. That’s a lot of Swag Bucks! (In fact, under the old system 790 Swag Bucks could get you $85 in Amazon cards!)
Now, we don’t want to sound ungrateful. Swag Bucks is, and has always been, awesome. We’re not looking a gift horse in the mouth. We want Swag Bucks to be around forever and we realize that changes sometimes need to be made. We can certainly understand placing a limit on physical prizes that cost money just to store.
What we’re hoping is that the Swag Bucks Team will continue the precedent they have created in being good to, and listening to, the community that helped make them what they are today.
Please Swag Bucks, don’t limit the number of electronic prizes per month, or adjust the prices of the higher denomination cards so that they are at least close to the cost of multiple smaller denomination cards.
If you have something to say about this change and would like to let Swag Bucks know, visit the following discussion thread on the Swag Bucks Facebook page and voice your concerns:
►New Amazon Gift Card Limit Discussion◄
Also, you may want to write to the Swag Bucks team at support@swagbucks.com or The Swag Guy at theswagguy@swagbucks.com and let them know that you’d “like it very much if they didn’t limit the number of electronic prizes per month, or if they would adjust the prices of the higher denomination cards so that they are at least close to the cost of multiple smaller denomination cards.”
Be polite, be honest, and tell them that you love Swag Bucks.

Missed today’s code (sorry) but the WeLoveSwagBOT caught it!
Hi All…
We’re sorry to say we missed a code today.
The good news is that the WeLoveSwagBOT caught it.
The WeLoveSwagBOT is a little fellow who hangs around reading every Swag Bucks Blog post, Twitter tweet, and Facebook message in the hopes of finding clues to those elusive and fleeting Swag Codes. When he does come across something that looks Swag Codely, he tweets the url in his own WeLoveSwagBot Twitter feed.
If you haven’t signed up for twitter you really ought to. In addition to the WeLoveSwagBot Twitter feed you can also get notified the latest WLSB code and hint alerts on the WLSB Twitter feed, and of course, keep up to the minute with Swag Bucks news on the official Swag Bucks twitter feed.
Refuse to cave and join twitter? Okay, we won’t push it. But be sure to check out our side bar (over there on the right). Down a little ways, right under the Feeds you will see a heading for the WLSB Twitter feed then the WLSBot Twitter feed. Each of these areas contains the three most recent tweets from WLSB and the WLSBot respectively. The heading of each is a direct link to the respective Twitter pages, and you don’t need to be a Twitter member to view the complete list of tweets.
So start following the WLSBot on Twitter. Start now! You’ll be glad you did!
If the WLSBot helped you get today’s code please let us know!
