Swag Bucks Birthday Cryptogram
The Cryptogram is complete!
A cryptogram is a type of puzzle which consists of a short piece of encrypted text. In most basic cryptograms, a substitution cipher is used where each letter is replaced by another letter. Your job is to figure out which letters are substituted for which and what the original phrase actually is.
For example, DV OLEV HDZT YFXPH is a cryptogram of WE LOVE SWAG BUCKS where Ws have been substituted with Ds, Es have been substituted with Vs and Ss have been substituted with Hs, etc etc.
Feb 18: the fifth letter is C (link)

Feb 21: the ninth letter is ” the letter that appears the most times in [the United States'] current President’s name, and the first letter of [the United States'] second President’s last name.” (link)
Feb 22: The last letter is Z (link)
Feb 23: The sixth letter is L (link)
Feb 24: The second letter is F (link)
Feb 25: The fist letter is the second letter of the TV Station’s call letters in the linked video (link)
Feb 26: The tenth letter is P (link)
Feb 27: The eighth letter is Q (link)
Feb 28: The fourth letter is F (link)
The complete cryptogram is:
► G F R F C L N Q A P Z ◄
Swag Bucks has released some hints on their facebook page as well…
A=I
L=R
F=E
Got your thinking caps on? Good! Now, the solved cryptogram is NOT the Swag Code! Once you solve the cryptogram, search for that phrase in the Swag Store, one of the items in the results has the Swag Code hidden in its description.

Good luck!

Swag Bucks’ Birthday is coming…
… and you wont want to miss it! One week from today is the big day.
Last year on Swag Bucks’ birthday there were enough festivities to give most of us a Swag Bucks hangover. We saw a complete redesign of the Swag Bucks system, and before the end of the day we saw EIGHT SWAG CODES! WLSB had over 17 thousand unique visitors!
This year the excitement has already begun with the daily release of letters in a ‘Cryptogram Swag Code‘. Starting on the 17th of this month Swag Bucks has been releasing one letter a day in a cryptogram whose solution, on their birthday, will give you what The Swag Guy says will be a “big, fat code”. Follow the progress here: Swag Bucks’ Birthday Cryptogram
And if you’re still on the fence about Swag Bucks, there has never been a better time to sign up!
So buckle your seat belts! If last year was any indication, we’re in for a wild ride one week from today, and WLSB will be right there in your passenger seat, helping you navigate your way to all those bonus Swag Bucks.
See you there!

Recovered!
Hi All,
We’ve recovered from a complete meltdown here at WLSB, a dramatic and anxious weekend was had, but we’re back at our posts and ready to pass on our Swag Code findings to you. We’re sorry for our absence and hope you
This incident has reminded us to remind you about the peripheral features of WeLoveSwagBucks, specifically, the WeLoveSwagBOT.
The WeLoveSwagBOT, for those of you who have not been introduced, is a little fellow who hangs around reading every Swag Bucks Blog post, Twitter tweet, and Facebook message in the hopes of finding clues to those elusive and fleeting Swag Codes. When he does come across something that looks Swag Codely, he tweets the url in his own WeLoveSwagBot Twitter feed.
If you haven’t signed up for twitter you really ought to. In addition to the WeLoveSwagBot Twitter feed you can also get notified the latest WLSB code and hint alerts on the WLSB Twitter feed, and of course, keep up to the minute with Swag Bucks news on the official Swag Bucks twitter feed.
Refuse to cave and join twitter? Okay, we won’t push it. But be sure to check out our side bar (over there on the right). Down a little ways, right under the Feeds you will see a heading for the WLSB Twitter feed then the WLSBot Twitter feed. Each of these areas contains the three most recent tweets from WLSB and the WLSBot respectively. The heading of each is a direct link to the respective Twitter pages, and you don’t need to be a Twitter member to view the complete list of tweets.
So start following the WLSBot on Twitter. Start now! You’ll be glad you did!
If the WLSBot helped you get a Swag Code please let us know!

Post Birthday Month in Review
Hi All…
At the end of February we all got a big surprise on Swag Buck’s second birthday. We woke up to see our Swag Buck totals increased by a factor of 10. TSG also made the bold statement that the new denominations would mean more Swag Bucks for the users.
There has been much discussion since that day about what this means to Swaggernauts. A lot of folks think it’s been a ploy to give out fractional Swag Bucks and therefor decrease our earning power. We admit that we were on the fence about the new Swag Bucks denominations but we reserved our judgment until we had some actual numbers to look at, and we’re pleased to bring you good news.
Over the month of March we’ve been tracking each day exactly how many Swag Bucks we earn through searching, through Swag Codes, and through referrals. We remember what we were earning before the big change so we can make an easy comparison.
Here are our results for the first full month after the big change (note that these numbers are in “new Swag Bucks”):
| March 2010 | Before the change | |
| Total SB from searching | ||
| Average per day SB from searching | ||
| Total SB from Swag Codes | ||
| Average per day SB from Swag Codes |
As you can see, our daily search earnings are, as a average, up about 30% compared to our monthly pre-change search earnings. Furthermore, our daily Swag Code earnings have doubled! If you consider that all our (and your
) referrals are also earning more… well it all adds up.
So… the change is a welcome one. We’re happy, and we hope you all are experiencing similar boosts in your Swag Bucks. Leave a comment and let us know how you are doing since the big change.

Wow! Honourable mention from Swag Bucks!
Hi All… We’re speechless!
Veteran WLSB readers may be aware that we’ve been mentioned several times on the Swag Bucks. First on the Swag Bucks home page and later in the Swag Bucks blog. Both times for our tutorial on Swag Codes: Swag Codes 101.
Well what a surprise we got today when our unboxing video for our FREE Nintendo Wii was featured on the Swag Bucks blog.
What we want you to take away from this is how effective and rewarding it is to interact with the Swag Bucks community. Not only is it tons of fun, but we received 20 Swag Bucks just for sending our video to the good folks at SwagBucks.com. An unboxing video is a great way to get in contact with potential referrals and let them know that Swag Bucks is fun and legit.
Now, with publicity like this, we can expect a lot more people heading over to check us out. That hopefully means a lot more Swaggernauts learning how to make the most out of Swag Bucks.
We’ve said time and again that anyone can do what we’ve done. This is just proof positive that if you put your heart in to it people will take notice and you will reap the benefits.

Wow… what a party!
Well, Swag Bucks promised a celebration and boy did they deliver. I think more than a few of us have a Swag Bucks hangover this morning.
Overall we saw EIGHT Swag Codes given out during the festivities. We hope that you got em all!
Here’s the breakdown (for those of you who may have suffered some Swag Bucks Blackouts)
- The new menu code worth 20 MyReferrals
- The all day Swag Hunt worth 30 ILoVEsb
- The Twitter code worth 8 CeLeBRaTe
- The toolbar code worth 13 BeeDay
- The older blog post code worth 22 Cumpleanos
- The Flickr code worth 5 LetsEatCake
- The Facebook code worth 10 PRESENTS
- and the late night blog code worth 6 steaz
Add all of those up and figure in the 40 we got for searching and our Swag Bucks Birthday total was 154. Not bad considering that would be a little over 15 Swag Bucks under the old currency.
It was also a banner day for We Love Swag Bucks receiving 17,336 unique visitors throughout the day! Insane!
Collect yourselves… because not only is today a Mega Swag Bucks Friday, but The Swag Guy has promised a newsletter. You should all know what that means
We hope you all had fun and that we could help you add to your Swag Bucks bottom line. Let us know how you made out and keep posting your new daily wins so we can all get our heads around the new currency and reward frequency.
Finally, thanks to Swag Bucks for a great celebration and for another year of awesome rewards.
Tip o the glass to you.

WOW! What a change!
Well it’s only been an hour or two since we’ve crawled out of bed, and what a change we’re seeing in the Swag Bucks home page. The Swag Bucks crew promised big changes and they’ve delivered already!
The first thing you notice when you open your browser this morning is a staggering change in your Swag Bucks total. Before you start dreaming of all the big ticket items you’re going to buy in the Swag Store read about the re-valueing of Swag Bucks.
1 Equals 10
Every Swag Buck is now worth ten Swag Bucks. What?!? In the same way that one dollar equals ten dimes Swag Bucks has changed the way we earn our rewards. Now, you’ll get 10 Swag Bucks as a search reward, or 20 Swag Bucks, or maybe 16 or 18. This allows Swag Bucks to reward us with intermediate denominations. Winning 16 Swag Bucks sounds better and makes more sense than winning 1.6 Swag Bucks.
At first this may seem like a sneaky way of rewarding us with partial Swag Bucks, but when you think about it, 99% of the Swag Bucks we used to get each day were 1 SB denominations. Only time will tell how prevailent the new denominations are, but it looks like we may be earning our Swag Buck a little faster.
Please post your winnings today… let us know how many Swag Bucks you’re winning and how often.
Good luck!
Update #1
Our fist win of the day is a crisp new 20 SB. Equivalent to an old denomination 2 SB. We’re pretty happy with this
Keep posting your wins in the comments… Good luck!
Update #2
Our second win of the day is another crisp new 20 SB. So far that makes 4 old school Swag Bucks. Not bad for a morning
Keep posting your wins in the comments… Good luck!
